Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order with Kakes By Kiri.

1. Orders and Deposits

1.1 To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required as follows:
- Orders under £45: A £20 non-refundable deposit is required.
- Orders over £100: A £50 non-refundable deposit is required.
1.2 Deposits can be paid via bank transfer, and details will be provided upon confirmation of your order.

2. Order Confirmation
2.1 Your order is considered confirmed once we have received the deposit.
2.2 We will confirm your booking details, including the collection date and time (this can be confirmed close to the collection date) in writing (via email, text, or other means of communication). Please review this confirmation carefully and notify us of any discrepancies or changes as soon as possible.

3. Cancellations and Changes
3.1 Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. The deposit is non-refundable but if provided with at least 10 days notice, we would be happy to move the booking date for you (subject to availability)
3.2 Changes: Minor changes to your order may be accommodated depending on availability and notice provided. Major changes may incur additional charges.

4. Collection and Delivery
4.1 Collection: You are responsible for collecting your cake from the collection address at the agreed-upon date and time. If you or your representative elects to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves our possession.
4.2 Delivery: We may offer delivery services for an additional fee, subject to availability and location. Delivery charges and terms will be discussed and agreed upon separately.
4.3 Delivery: We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s). Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23 degrees Celsius or below.

5. Payment
5.1 Final Payment: The remaining balance for your cake order must be paid by either:
- Bank Transfer 24hrs prior to collection
- Cash upon collection.
5.2 Payment Methods: The Cake Maker accepts payment in cash, credit/debit cards, or other agreed-upon payment methods. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation of your order.

6. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
6.1 It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of placing your order. We will do their best to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

7. Satisfaction and Disputes
7.1 We strive for customer satisfaction and will make every reasonable effort to ensure the quality of your cake. If you have concerns about your order, please contact us promptly to discuss your issue and potential resolutions.

8. Liability
8.1 The Cake Maker will not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from the consumption or use of the cake after it has been collected by the customer.
8.2 If flowers are provided by an outside source, we will place them for an additional fee. You acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.

9. Copyright and Photography
9.1 On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you. If you have concerns about privacy, please inform the us in advance.

By placing an order with the Kakes By Kiri, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to you in advance.
